What got you interested in working out?
How you feel after a workout and the benefits in my physique.

What got you interested in competing?
I felt and look very good. I was 19 and I wanted to have the experience of competing.

Who was the most influential person/group that made you want to workout?
Since I started working out in 1991, I admired the bodybuilders I met at the gym at the time.

Where do you currently workout?
Golds Gym.

How long have you been competing?
26 years.

How many competitions have you entered?
Around 30 or more.

What was your best placing and where?
WNBF World Championships 2014, Light Weight 1st place.

What is your most memorable moment competing so far?
I won my first competition and received a big trophy.

What is your most surprising moment competing so far?
On October 29, 2014 got my pro card, on November I won my first pro show -Monster Mash – and became eligible to compete for the World Championship. It was very satisfying to compete in all these events in less than three weeks.

What was the best workout advice you received?
Never quit and keep going.

What advice about fitness, health, etc. would you like to share with our readers?
Always ask for help when you need.

What do you like most about the WNBF?
The WNBF is growing, I have more opportunities to compete in the US and abroad.

Are you involved in any other parts of the sport? Training people? (Judging? Promoting?, etc.)
No, nothing yet.

What are your 2016 competition goals? Long range goals?
To win WNBF World Overall Champion!

What does being a WNBF pro/amateur competitor mean to you?
I’ve been with WNBF from the beginning of my career. I’m proud to be part of an organization that supports all natural athletes. I’m thankful to God that I can continue lifting and setting a positive example for children that you don’t need steroids to succeed.
